That’s all she wrote: 2011 Blue Jays

The Blue Jays beat the White Sox today in the final game of the season to lift their record to an even 81-81. That’s just about where they were predicted to be in many pre-season prognostications, if not worse. There were some highlights – Bautista, Arencibia, Lawrie, and Romero. There were some lowlights – that bullpen, and the inconsistent starting pitchers. Hopefully that will get better next season with an improved and/or healthy Alvarez, Drabek, and McGowan. They’ll need it to get to 95-ish wins, which is what they’ll have to get to in order to make the playoffs. It should make for an interesting off-season.
